AAFC Enamel Pin

£7.00

This AAFC enamel pin is beautifully finished in blue and white. Our research into the origins of this historic badge and the blue and white colours used by Ardwick can be found in detail on pages 2 and 4 of our website.

During the seven seasons Ardwick existed, the club developed its Hyde Road home into a fully enclosed ground. It won and then retained the Manchester & District Challenge Cup, entered into league football for the first time and competed in the FA Challenge Cup. The record victory was achieved by beating Stanley FC (Liverpool) by twelve goals to nil on 4th October 1890.

This style of pin was previously offered by us to purchase only as part of a set.

This elegant, historic badge has a lapel stud with butterfly clutch fitting. Approximate size is 15mm x 17mm. Supplied in a hinged plastic box to protect from damage during mailing.
