Ardwick’s predominant colour during its years of existence was white, although we know they also played in various shades of blue with white including royal blue. It is these white jerseys that were used for several seasons of the clubs existence that we are certain of. A gallery photograph of the team proves it.

Ardwick AFC had seven eventful seasons which included winning and retaining the clubs first ever trophy, the Manchester & District Challenge Cup. It also achieved a record win of 12-0 on 4th October 1890, at Hyde Road against Stanley FC (Liverpool) in the FA Cup. Ardwick played its first ever league game after initially gaining entry into the Football Alliance during 1891, then becoming founder members of Football League Division Two a year later.

This premium quality replica jersey is much heavier and thicker than today’s modern football shirts. 100% cotton with traditional late Victorian style buttoned collar. Attractive twin needle hems, with the AAFC shield embroidered to the front left breast of the jersey, and inside neck print labelling.
